Format text using text blocks

Using blocks

You can use different types of content blocks to format your content.

Type a forward slash ‘/’ to access the different types of blocks within your documentation page:

Choose the block you want from the list, then type or paste your text content.

The available text blocks are currently:

  • Heading 1
  • Heading 2
  • Heading 3
  • Text
  • Code
  • Callout

We will be adding more types of content blocks in future releases.

Using markdown

You can also use markdown syntax to format your text. This is useful as a shortcut for creating content blocks, and for pasting in content in markdown format from other tools.

To see the available markdown shortcut, look in the context menu when you type a forward slash to create a block:

For example, to create a Heading 3 you can type ### and then the space bar, then continue typing your content:
